EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Comprehensive and evidence-informed community education has been a core element of Take Control Initiative’s (TCI) program since 2010. We aim to build knowledge, skills, confidence, and autonomy. We hope to open the door for further conversation about sexual and reproductive health. Workshops are free and open for the general public, as well as staff of social service, health, and other outreach organizations that work directly with the public.
Topics Offered:
– Key characteristics of birth control
– Safer sex essentials
– No-to-low-cost sexual health resources in Tulsa
– Patient rights
– Preparing for pregnancy
– For parents/trusted adults: How to start the conversation
If you would like more details or would like us to host a free workshop for your organization or program, please contact us.
