An Evidence-Based Training on Contraceptive Care
UCSF Bixby Center’s Beyond the Pill program is pleased to bring you this interactive virtual training. The training is certified for up to 4.5 CME credit hours at no cost and open to all clinic staff.

Contraceptive Counseling Fundamentals (2 CME credits)
This session focuses on patient-centered counseling techniques and shared decision-making. Through interactive case studies, participants will become more comfortable responding to common patient concerns around birth control and counseling on side effects.

Updates, Guidelines & Best Practices (2.5 CME credits)
This session reviews evidence-based guidelines for providing the full range of contraceptive methods. We will review patient eligibility, compare and contrast side effects and benefits, and discuss common misconceptions and concerns about these options.
